Nina Hirlander, Spiritual Guide
Nina is a co-founder of our partner company, Dancing Spirit Tours. She and her father, Horst Prelog, organize and lead tours to England, India, and Italy, as well as their native homeland of Austria.
Nina brings a sweet and loving fairy-type energy to the tours she leads. As an experienced yoga instructor who overcame cancer, she has a zest for life that inspires those around her.
Nina’s strong background in live performing arts and management of both independent and large theatre companies support her work as a group leader and facilitator. Some notable positions include General Manager of Theatre Terrific Society, a company dedicated to bringing together artists of diverse physical and mental health issues, Managing Producer of November Theatre, committed to creating alternative musicals with a heightened performance style and Operations Coordinator of Theatre Under The Stars, entertaining families with popular musicals while providing a vibrant training ground to developing performers.
Nina’s Educational Background
- Graduated from Studio 58 Conservatory in theatre production
- Graduated York University BFA in theatrical arts
- Training in integrative community building from the University of Catalunya in Barcelona
- Diploma in Designing Sustainable Human Settlements and Ecovillages, University of Catalunya in Barcelona
- Yoga Teacher Training Certification, at the RYT 200 level in Hatha and Vinyasa styles at The Lotus Centre in London, Ontario
Currently, Nina is pursuing Yoga Teacher Training at the RYT 500 level at Ajna Yoga in Victoria, British Columbia. She is also currently enrolled at The Four Winds Light Body School. Upon completion, she will be certified as an Energy Medicine Practitioner in the Shamanic Tradition.
Nina is a dedicated student of the Universal Kabbalah and Western Esoteric Metaphysics. She is on the path of a modern mystic with one of the seven Mystery Schools that holds the lineage of King Solomon. In her spare time, Nina enjoys painting her dreams, dancing with the moon, knitting and sipping tea in a sunny windowsill. Her newest creative adventure is learning to play the harmonium.
Nina’s personal mission is to serve humanity by lovingly empowering people to connect with their authentic selves and open their hearts to the awe-some glory of life.
